Default Quick Game Day Post

Huge game tonight against the Florida Panthers. Florida is among the group of teams pushing for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference right now so Ottawa needs to find a way to win.

The injuries really are piling up right now but the Sens need to dig deep and find a way to win. Things get pretty dicey after tonight as the team will head out on a 5 game road trip.

The Senators will be without their entire top line tonight, as Milan Michalek joins the list of walking wounded. There is some good news though as it was announced that Captain Daniel Alfredsson is 7-10 days away from a return.

Here is how the forward combos look heading into tonight's tilt

Kovalev-Fisher-Shannon
Foligno-Regin-Neil
Ruutu-Kelly-Cheechoo
Smith-St.Pierre-Winchester

Alex Picard and Shean Donovan are the scratches this evening. Brian Elliott gets the start in goal.
