GO CANADA/SENS GO! (Elliott to Start, Picard In)
Huge day of hockey on tap today.
The Ottawa Senators play host to the Boston Bruins in a huge North East match up and Team Canada goes for gold against the United States in Saskatoon.
Puck drops in Ottawa at 7:30 PM with gold medal game starting a half hour later in Saskatoon.
With a win tonight over the Bruins the Sens could vault Boston in the standings and move into 5th place in the Eastern Conference. The Bruins will be without Team Canada member Patrice Bergeron for the game in Ottawa. He was hit by a shot on the hand last night and did not travel to Ottawa.
The Olympics are still a ways a way so it's too early to think about roster replacements for Bergeron. An update on Bergeron is expected later today.
The Senators will go with the same forward combinations from their afternoon tilt with Philly.

Brian Elliott gets the nod in goal. Alex Picard will draw back into the line up in place of Chris Campoli.
Meanwhile, in a rematch of their New Year's Eve Classic, Team Canada and the United States will square of for the Gold Medal in Saskatoon.
Senators prospect Jared Cowen is expected to play tonight with the injury to Travis Hamonic. Cowen has had his ice time limited all tournament but will be called upon in the gold medal showdown. Cowen has been given a bit of a raw deal by Coach Desjardins but should have an opportunity to prove himself tonight.
Good luck to Jared Cowen and the rest of Team Canada...
