First shut out for a Sens Goalie in modern day history.
Bonus points if you can tell me what team Ottawa was playing, and the score
I also remember who scored the last goal which was an empty netter

It's gotta be either Craig Billington or Don Beaupre....or did it take even longer?

lol found something
TEAM NEWS
* Hopes were high entering the season in Ottawa, now that
Alexandre Daigle, Alexei Yashin, and Radek Bonk were all in the
Senators' line-up. Fans were expecting big things this season, or
at least a noticeable improvement over the first two years of the
fledgling franchise. Unfortunately, so far things don't look any
different.
The Senators are once again at home in last place in the
league, after stumbling to an early 1-7-2 record. Winless after
their first eight games, the Senators finally got a win under
their belt ith a 3-0 victory over the Flyers. Don Beaupre was
sharp in goal turning away every shot he faced, including a
penalty shot by Mark Recchi, on way to recording the first
shutout in the history of the Senators. Another ray of hope in
the Senator win was that Yashin and Daigle each scored a goal.
They have to come through in a big way if the Senators want to
become competitive.

Quarter of the way down. LMAO I had Daigle scoring right! not sure if it was an empty netter though
Forgot about Recchi being stopped on a penalty shot though!

Who is the only player that Bryan Murray has traded away, and also traded for?

Nope. In fact, Murray has never been part of any transaction involving Sykora. I'll give you a hint - the player I'm thinking of was traded away in Anaheim, and traded for in Ottawa. That makes it a much smaller list.

No. He traded Simpson to Ottawa while in Anaheim, but he never traded for Simpson while here.

The only player he has ever traded away AND traded for, is a player he traded from Anaheim, and then ended up trading for while in Ottawa.
Another hint - he no longer plays for us. (Though not because of a trade, or that would've made it traded away - traded for - traded away!)

Gerber comes to mind, Murray traded him to Carolina but we signed him... Murray didn't trade FOR him.
Good one Josh very good one! I got it but had to do a little research. Based on using the internet am I allowed to say it? I know for a fact that I have mentioned his name in one of my posts today
