Apparently so the team would be more Organized, I thought Gauthier was Nucking Futs!

I think Comrie was the one to break that in 2007

It was to my understanding that that was Jacques Martin idea not Pierre Gauthier. He needed Gauthier permission to do it.

I believe Phillips was one of them.
Dean McAmmond didn't get his number when he came to the Sens so he was given one below the 48 number.

Here one for you but having a hard time finding the answer.
I can see their faces but can't spit out their names.

Before Dean and Gord, who were the original broadcasters of the Sens when both of them got fired only one year and a half for down playing the Sens on their broadcast and one of them was caught drunk on air during a game?
Hint: The drunk one was a popular and well respected sportcaster but after getting caught, to this day, he never called any game for any sports again.

The other one was probably Stan Neckar - he was number 94. Don't remember what he was after though.

Which former Ottawa Senator while playing with the Montreal Canadians suffered a career ending injury while attempting to block a shot. The puck hit him in the throat, almost paralyzing his left vocal cord. Who was it?

Here is an easy one:

Who scored the goal that secured a playoff spot for the first time in modern history and who was the goalie he beat? Bonus if you know who got the primary assist.

Duchesne with the goal? Dunno about the assist.

You're Right Alfie11, It was Steve Duchesne on a one-time from Alexei Yashin that beat Buffalo goaltender Dominik Hasek.

I'll never forget Dave Schreiber's call on the goal

Steeeeevvveeeeee Du du du du du du du du Chesne! (I honestly am positive I got the exact amounts of Du's that Schreibs said) Took a pass from Cashin and wired it short side (Hasek's left) on the Dominator! I'll never forget it.

We had the Effing series! >_< God damn Derrick Plante!
