Yep Rick got it, it was Havlat. We played the Flyers 2 straight years in the playoffs eliminated them easily both times, What I meant by the question was: the first time we played them who scored the series ending game winning overtime goal?
Havlat

in the first game of the 2006 playoffs we played the Sabres, was a high scoring affair that saw us lose 7-6 in overtime, thanks to a goal by Chris Drury 10-15 seconds into o.t due to this man fanning on his pass putting the puck right on Drury's stick, Drury made no misatake and burried it.
Who coughed up the puck? and bonus points if you can tell me who tied the game at 6 for the Sabres with 11 Seconds left forcing overtime.

Volchenkov coughed it up, YES! but I havent seen who got the WINNING goal yet, remember, it was right off the faceoff at the start of overtime. Faceoff won by Spezz, to Volchenkov, Volchy goes to head man the puck, Oooooooppppppsss GAME 1 OVER. Sabres take 1-0 series lead, 2 more overtimes winners, one by Dumont and then of course Pominville's We were gone

You know Brandon, your post just might be 100% accurate, Connoly was the guy to tie the game with like 11 seconds left in the third, after Smolinski made it 6-5 with a minute and a half left.
Your post made me think that maybe Volchenkov tried to clear the zone, fanned on it, and of course soon after Connoly scored, then of course he does it again 10 seconds in to O.T

Spezza scored his first NHL goal against what team?
Even strength? PP? Shorty? or an empty netter?

Nope, that led to all the fighting,
But, what was it that got the Flyers mad in the first place?
