I have no idea if this was posted anywhere else, but I thought I would include the link anyway. Just a little something to throw in some excitement for some new faces on the team. Ones that wants to do well here.

And besides, Cowen and Wiercioch won't be playing in the NHL until 2011/12 (full time for 2012/13), so if we play our cards right, we can keep both. We just lock up Volchenkov long-term next spring and then Phillips for 3 years starting in 2011/12, then Wiercioch and Cowen's entry level contracts last through 2014/15 and when they are up and need big raises, Kuba (whose contract ends at the end of 2011/12, and I expect [hope] to be effectively replaced by Wiercioch the next season) will be long gone and Phillip's 3 year contract will be up and he (by now 36) will be ready to retire or take a large pay cut for his last couple seasons.

Good post. From what I've read Wiercioch is indeed an offensive defenseman.

When I went up to Foligno for an autograph, I handed him a Spezza jersey.
He signed my jersey and said "Who is Spezza?"
Wow, he likes to joke around

The Sens are at my work all the time, Spezza and his wife were in last night, I said congrats on their marriage.
I work at the AMC theatres, best place in the world to get autographs.
It's also cool cause I get to see which players hang out with each other.

Ruutu, Kuba and Gerber would always come in alone. Spezza is in the most, sometimes with Foligno, Fisher, Kelly, Brian Lee, other times with his wife and brother.
Neil, Phillips and Volchenkov are usually in with their wives, but on occasion will double date.
Once Mike Fisher and Mike Comrie both brought Hilary Duff and Carrie Underwood in together.
Also, on a weekly basis players from other teams will stop in to see a movie. They are really easy to spot as in the fall they have to sport their black trench-coats.
I actually got a Penguins jersey signed during the 07 Playoffs by the majority of their stars. (Haven't worn it since they eliminated us)

I work at the Coliseum, and Spezza was there last season. I saw him, but had too much work to do. That night he scored an OT winner
