Koby? Or Kovy? If you are talking about Kovalev, there is absolutly no guarantee he would have made a difference. I would have hoped so, for 5 million reasons...but sadly, it doesn't come with a satisfaction guarantee...and since he wasn't there and since Sens didn't go past 1st round, its a dead subject.........however, he may have a chance to redeem himself next season.

Next season he has the motive to have a great season. Contract year, something to prove post-injury, wanting to get the Sens to the playoffs where he shines. I think Kovy will have a good year next season.

rumour is that Volchenkov is the main goal for pens in this years off-season.
While sens and some other teams are intrested in aquiring Gonchar (if pens get Volchenkov, Gonchar is officially gone from pens).

Sound to me like you read this post on HFBoards:
Quote:
Hey guys,
So my fiancée and I got into a fight the other day about our wedding plans, and now she wants to postpone the wedding (it was supposed to be in the next couple of weeks). We originally planned on a small ceremony, but now we have over 250 showing up. Moreover, she's making me and my family and friends fly all the way down to Tennessee to have the ceremony on some stupid farm.
If that's not bad enough, for the dinner at the reception, she wants to do a hokey southern barbecue instead of a classy five-course meal like I want - hell, neither of us are exactly poor, we can afford to do better than glorified KFC!
I know a wedding day is supposed to be all about the bride, but I'm a part of this too. I seem like I'm giving up a lot and not getting anything in return - we haven't even had sex yet because of her "faith", and that's half the reason I wanna get this over with!!

I heard that yesterday on "Entertainment Tonight" ...If accurate, I think its funny that he wants the big fancy stuff and she wants the simple thing. It is usually the other way around. ..

Volchenkovs agent won't confirm or deny he is selling his house but said Volchenkov won't be back in Ottawa unless he gets 5 million. Sutton wants to stay in Ottawa.

Really? I'm a little surprised by that...I wonder how much he's asking for?

Yep, that's not even close.
I know Volchenkov's a good player, but I'm really glad we're not pulling a Toronto here and signing D-men to HUGE contracts.
