I seems like just yesterday that Carkner scored him 1st NHL goal.

I remember thinking at the end of last season "the 09-10 team would be the same team as the 08-09 team (plus and minus a couple pieces), and I don't think we'll do too well".

As of right now, four forwards, three defenseman and one goaltender are all different, and I love it.

I was never somebody who wanted to get rid of Spezza, but I realized we had to move one of the "Big 3". Spezza seemed like the obvious choice considering Alfredsson loyalty (and NTC), and Heatley's NMC, but I'm glad Heatley is gone over Spezza or Alfie. Having a #1 center > having a #1 first line LWer.

A year ago, we knew our team wasn't going to the spring dance ...however, we had no clue the drama was about to explode and it had nothing to do with missing the playoffs...

I'm pleased to say, though very streaky, this team is not doing so bad without the Diva. As a matter of fact, when they are all on the same page, this group is fun to watch. That said, to me it seems like when one piece of the puzzle is off the track, the entire chemistry goes down the drain...

I sure hope they will keep the momentum and win as many games as possible out of their last 5. It would be great for their minds to enter the playoffs on a winning note.

Don't look now, but Daniel Alfredsson is riding an eight game point streak during which he's racked up 3 goals and 11 assists.

He needs 10 in the next 3 to reach that magical 1000 in 1000 milestone.

Wouldn't that be crazy if he could get to it???

He would need 2 3-point nights, and 1 4 point realistically.

Spezza has 35 points (17 goals, 18 assists) in 26 games since returning from injury and is now up to 54 points in 56 games. Pretty good considering he lost Heatley and battled an injury through the start of the year, and got off to a bad start.

and on top of that, he has improved his defensive game this season as well. He still has a few bad giveaways, but everyone does.

On April 11th (one week from today), the Binghamton Senators play their final game of the year. Expect to see familiar face Jonathan Cheechoo called up to the Sens.

Nathan Horton and an assistant coach are fighting. I wonder how he'll perform tonight?

Hopefully terrible. It would be great for the sens to blow out the Cats.
