That's a good idea for a thread...

Maybe we should have some competition to see who can get the most pictures with him?

With Heatley on the team, i think there are plenty of different options they have.

Fisher Spezza Alferdsson - I think this line would be great. They have played together before and yes Fisher has played left before.

Heatley Shannon Kovalev - I think this line could happen, one because Cloutson loves Shannon, two he has the offensive potentioal to be a top 6. I'm just not sure if they would want to put him in the centre position.

If they don't he could even fit on the first line with S H and I would put Kovalev and Alfie together.

Everyone seems to want Foligno in the top six. I didn't put him there because I think putting him on the third he would develope better and I just don't think he is ready yet.

I would like to see Ruutu and Neil on the same line... energy, strangth and pissing off just about every player they play against.

To be honiest every line is kinda a crap shoot anyways... which prospects makes it? who plays well with who? Not alot of history with the players that aren't made of pizza, so who knows.

I dunno, I have a distinct feeling that if Foligno is in the top 6, he could reach 30 goals this season.

I'm almost looking forward to see what will be the possibilities when training camp rolls around. If #15 actually is still here and gives his best..with Kovalev giving his best..ho this is exciting in my head right now...hahaha

well if Foligno does make the top six i would switch him with Fisher and put him on the third line. Bah, maybe Shannon doesn't brake out like i think he will and he plays on the third. I just see him striving with stars on his line.

I think Shannon could be a big part of our team. I loved what I saw from him last season. He's a St. Louis type player, using his small size to his advantage, rather than thinking of it as a detriment.

This is exactly why he'd be great on a line with Kovalev:

I agree Skippy..his size is not a factor for him. He's not afraid to get his nose dirty..and he's creative. He also has a quick skate.

It's a thread not about Heatley... it might make a difference.

could very well be the reason ..and we are getting closer to training camp so most of us in need of a hockey fix..will start talking about the team in general a bit more everyday from now until camp starts.
