Yeah, I think it has more to do with Michalek having the day off rather than Shannon staying permanently up there.
Shannon had a pretty good game last night though, I was surprised.

Foligno is a class-act from everything I've seen. Great attitude, and is all around a nice guy.
At the Tampa game he was the last one out during warm up because he was giving pucks to kids through the camera holes. All the kids were Lightning fans but that didn't matter to him.

I would certainly hope so. It was clean, solid, and created momentum to lead our team to victory.

I posted an article in the Eastern conference about Hedman...he ain't playing against the Habs tonight but says he's ok..and holds no gruge against Neil (its safer that way hihihi)..said it was a clean hit and "I gotta learn to keep my head up"....
Hedman is ok but won't play against Habs

I don't know if this has already been posted, but I figured I'd put it in here:
Quote:
“We have to make a tweak if we can,” Murray said Monday before heading to Toronto, where the National Hockey League’s 30 general managers are meeting this week to discuss head shots, rule changes, equipment standards and maybe a deal or two.
“Very definitely, we have to find a way to get at least one more player here,” he said, acknowledging that player would probably be another forward. “I’m certainly going to investigate as we go forward here to see if there’s anything more we can do, and at some point we’ll figure out if we need to make a change.”

We have to add player: Sens GM - Hockey Capital

I hate how Murray speaks sometimes. "I’m certainly going to investigate as we go forward here to see if there’s anything more we can do" WTF!? Shouldn't he ALWAYS be doing that? Shouldn't he have a pretty good idea RIGHT NOW of where the other GMs are? I know that if I was a GM, the other 29 would be my best friends...

IMO, what he is saying...and what he is actually doing are two different things. I seriously doubt he would come out to the media and say: "Yeah, I've been shopping my lazy ass players for the past week and god damm, I'M stuck with them cause no one else wants'em"...
