Not sure why everyone gives up so easily!
The one and ONLY thing I absolutely love with the leafs is the fact that their fans are sooooo die hard, and never give up on their team! I mean, they went almost 20 games without a win, and only a few people were like... ahhh well. Now the Leafs fans are out and proud and cheering like they're gonna win the stanley cup (even though I think they are still at the bottom of the conference).
Yeah, of course, Sens havn't at all been playing like they should be... but lets cheer them on anyways! Why lose total faith in a team, because of a bad year here and there. Ok it sucks... yeah, but if you love a team, you love a team, regardless of whether they win or lose!
So I say.... GO SENS GO!!! Lets pick it up, and go out and have some fun! And win some games!

Haha, thanks! It just grinds my gears!! Even if your team sucks for a few years... if you love them, you love them!
But they gotta pick up the pace! Lets let some lines build some chemistry! Like MTA and stuff said --- keep it Folign-Fisher-Kovy (if consistent) or Shannon and Michalek-Spezza-Alfie as the top two lines! But I'm no coach... so I'll just cheer my heart out!!!

I'm not going to lie, I'm usually one of the Kuba haters, but this team needs him right now. He might have a lot of defensive zone breakdowns but we need his offense.
This team is struggling to score goals. Toronto's defense had a horrible game last night - SO many giveaways and turnovers to give Ottawa amazing scoring chances. Gustavsson was great, but half of those pucks should have been by him. I mean...a breakaway and Gustavsson puts one pad on the ice and all you have to do is elevate the puck a bit but you keep it low and shoot it right into his chest?
Ugh, and during a PK Kelly had an amazing chance to put one in, and he shoots it square at Gustavsson's chest. I think we all know they can score, but I think their confidence is down a lot. Cory Clouston has to find a way to get them rolling, whether it be to put them in the pressbox, bench them, work them extra hard at practice, have one on one meetings, etc.
Also, Leclaire, you might just be getting your chance to re-take the #1 goalie reigns in the next game. This would be the time for Leclaire to keep up his great play and get us some wins.

I 100% agree, i didnt know how much he meant to our offence until he was gone! if our offence starts to click tonight with him back in the lineup, we know hes a big part of this team even if he does suck at defence

Yah, but we all said the same thing when Karlesson was injured and his return hasnt made the team turn around that everyone said he would.
Its not just one guy, especially not Kuba. Having our least defensively responsible Dman back wont suddenly make us drop games to shit teams. Its an easy out, but the problems are more then that.
I think the problem right now is the problem the team has been having ever since our cup elimination. Guys just dont care sometimes.

Perfectly said my friend!
Everyone in Ottawa seems to be playing an individual game. There is 0 chemistry.

You know, with the obvious exception of Alfie who shows buckets of heart night in, night out, this may well be the problem.
We saw it with how Heatley left this team.
