Not good indeed. But the fact that we have the Olympic break is actually a good thing.

Should heal all those nagging injuries.

Sucks that we lost him, worried for the Leafs and the Caps games. If we lose to leafs I will hear it for a while even tho they suck

C P from a must win sittuation
Should work that way but not in TML land.... You see after last nights win by Toronto the Leaf fans are on such a big high that we would have to go at least 10 in a row to match that high. Then on the other hand if Toronto went 10 in a row I would lock myself in my house until July just ot get away from the chatter

I am seriously so scared...

This team without Karlsson is like a gun without a bullet.

Karlsson starts everything from the back-end, this guy has been our saviour in so many ways.

This team just decreases that much more in aspects of a puck-moving defenceman.

Karlsson i hope all this nonsense is a lie and that you will be back tomorrow!

I'm not so much worried in losing Karlsson (it is a big deal)...but I think the bigger problem is that we now have to go with Picard.

EK is a Swede, a mini Alfie except he plays defense. He's from the Frolunda Indians,,, Let's hope with all that in common with Alfie that

He heals like Alfie!

I'm afraid our streak will end pretty soon...
we didn't play the same way that we did once karlsson left last night in the third period.

Karlsson got injured

I was at the game, nobody was freaked out...I guess I was buying something at that time.

He has been one of the best defencemen for us. Definately a big loss...

So...who is gonna replace him? A guy who can score but can't play defence (Picard)? Or a guy that can't play neither (Lee).

Wow reading all these posts is depressing. Karlsson, although he has been playing great lately is not the only reason we are on an 11 game winning streak!!! By the way you people are talking you wouldn't know if we haven't won a game for a month. Get over it guys, he's injured, he'll be back and our team will cope without him.

Guys take a chill pill (or two).

Reading this thread you guy make it sound like we lost F***ing Bobby Orr, or Scott Niedermayer.

Relax, Karlsson is a ROOKIE! Yes he has been one of our better players on defence but now it is time too see what Picard can do to step up and fill the void left by the injury.

Although Picard has not been playing with the team he has been practicing and know how coach Clouston want the defence to play.

I believe they will be fin in Toronto and have win number 12 under their belts.

No need to push the panic button. (yet!)

Actually you are right...so true.

Karlsson is good, but when thinking about it I don't think he will be that of a big loss.

After all, we kept on winning a few games (lasted for like 4 games...which is more than I expected) without Spezza, which IMO is a MUCH MUCH bigger loss than "Karlsson".

I don't agree, i know i am making Karlsson sound like a Lidstrom but that's what he is to us.

Spezza was not and will not be a bigger loss than Karlsson...Why?

It's like saying Toews goes down but you still have Kane, while Keith goes down and you have umm Harjallassamma?

It's about depth, not loss and we are as hollow as anything on defence.

Cause Regin says hi. Regin stepped up and easily became this team's top center scoring highlight goals and setting them up like no other.

Karlsson easily won us 2 games. Right now our streak could have easily been over at 8 games. Karlsson made the play to Fisher for us to break the record and made that pass to Alfy for us to extend the winning streak.

Who's going to step up? PICARD? Nice.

Spezza was not a big loss cause Regin was beyond exceptional, Who's going to continue our dominance from the blueline now? Softy Kuba?

Karlsson is not a HUGEEE loss, but he is the reason why walked away with easy wins against tough ass teams, what i mean is, he made our wins look easy cause our blueline had everything.

It's like saying Toews goes down but you still have Kane, while Keith goes down and you have umm Harjallassamma?

It's about depth, not loss and we are as hollow as anything on defence.
