Will Alfie make 1000 in 1000?
Currently, Daniel Alfredsson has played 941 games and scored 933 points. That's an amazing statistic in itself I think you'll all agree...
But do you think Alfie has a chance at getting to 1000 points in 1000 games this season?

Wouldn't that be an amazing achievement? Surely Alfie will be the first Senator to have his jersey retired to the rafters
And you with your sick mind!

1000 posts in 1000 days? Now that's gonna be hard lol.
But #11 will be retired the season after Alfie retires, that's for certain.

I think he can do it for sure! He just has to keep doing what he has been doing this season, and he'll get there

I calculated that it will be April 1st ( ) when the Hurricanes visit Ottawa.
or maybe it's March 13th, when the Sens visit the Canucks, because I think I miscalculated soemthing

Get Brandon to add it up for you, you'll probably all go together in 2013

It's Brandon's fault that I miscalculated you know. I never bothered to do the math myself so I just counted 68 games into the season before it occured to me that he can't even count to 100 apparently , so I counted back 10, but maybe I counted 9 or 11.

500 goals may be a longshot for him. He would probably have to play another 2 seasons after his contract is up (making him 41 and 42) and still put up the production he is putting up right now. If he were to hit 30 goals this season and then play the 3 seasons left on his contract and then 2 more seasons after that averaging around 25 goals then he would hit 500.
My feeling is that when his contract is up, that's it for him and he calls it a career. Most players who continue to play into their 40's are very seldomly Europeans, but rather Canadians or Americans.
