Robin Lehner
This guy has been playing amazing on a team that is 2nd last in their divison.
He started the season somewhat iffy with a 2-5 start and a 2.87 GAA and a .901 Save Percentage.
From then on though he has somewhat stolen the starting job from Bryce O'Hagan
and is now posting solid numbers with a record of 8-7 and 2.58 GAA with a .923 Save precentage.
This guy has an amazing work ethic and always strides to get better.
He has actually grown from 6'3 215 pounds to 6'4 224 pounds and seems like he isn't finished growing just yet.
His coachEs in sweden praised him greatly on his work ethic and Now he seems to always get better and better.
His father who taught lundqvist and his coach said that he sees his son as almost a copy of lundqvist and that only means good things for us Sens fans.
By the way the scouts said that his ONLY flaw is he never makes the big save. Believe me i have seen him play a couple of games and he made some marvelous saves with minutes to go and his team leading in the 3rd.
HERE'S TO A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR AN AMAZING NETMINDER FOR THE OTTAWA SENATORS!

Let me edit.
This guy is currently riding a personal 4 game winning streak with a shutout i don't know exact numbers though in those 4 game span but i can assure you they are amazing numbers!
His overall record went from a 2-5, 2.87 GAA, .901 SV% start to current numbers of:
12-7 record and 2.56 GAA with a .925 SV% nice! Hope he keeps this up! We have high hopes for him!

I was watching this guy play yesterday and man was i fortunate enough to see him get a shut-out.
He played a sound positional game and did 2 huge saves to keep the shutout. Those 2 saves came early and i really think were the difference makers in the game.
Many consider this guy as the best goalie in the OHL.
As a 18 year old in his first year in North America...
We Sens fans have a bright future in net!

AGREED!
I also read an interview he agreed to do from emails sent to him by a forum. He seems like an awesome guy. He is also estatic about being drafted by Ottawa.
This team could be scary good with the Swedish Kings on the rise:
Karlsson
Lehner
Petterson
Silvferberg
Drooolllll......

WOW!!!
Finished watching the Sault Marie game with Lehner!
HE IS AMAZINGGGGG!!!
I SWEAR TO GOD AMAZING!
34(out of 35 shots) saves and all brilliant! The other team had 8 PP chances and Lehner's had 4 yet we won 2-1 in OT.
Lehner denied Seguin so much times who was trying so hard to score for the league lead in points.
Lehner was so poised it wasn't even funny. This guy was just brilliant. He made saves with every part of his body.
Glove, arm, chest, blocker kick right pad save, left pad short stack of the pads.
Our goalie of the future folks!!!!
He stopped the puck from everywhere, the point, the circle, wraparound, breakway etc...
I will NOT be surprised if he makes HUGE noise in Ottawa's training camp next year and fight for a place on the team.
Robin Lehner was first star of the game too even though the other goalie was also very good.
Lehner also saved his team's ass by making 2 breakaway saves. One in regulation and one in OT.

I was watching SSM(Lehner's team) and he wasn't playing yesterday.
What a huge difference it made as the other goalie made a lot of stops(41) but was not there when they needed him as he let in 5 goals.
If anything Lehner took that game as a rest because they will face off Seguin and the Whalers for the playoffs in the first round and that game didn't mean that much too them as they would have stayed in 5th place no matter what.
Note: Out of the 36 total wins for the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds this year, Lehner has 27 of them

Yea, He's going to make a huge jump next year when he will go pro.
It seems like he will be playing in the AHL because of the acquisition of LeClaire but now since LeClaire is struggling and Lehner absolutely owning. It has people talking.
Just like the Mason story in Columbus.

SSM MADE THE PLAYOFFS!
Lehner won his first ever playoff game in the OHL! With a 3-2 victory of Seguin and the Plymouth Whalers!
GO LEHNER GO!
He made 30 out of 32 saves for the big W!

“(Lehner) told me he'll challenge real seriously and I believe him," Senators general manager Bryan Murray said earlier this week. "He's that calibre of kid. All these young guys have the potential to be very good and it's a matter of timing and what's best for their careers.
"If Robin Lehner comes in and knocks our socks off at training camp, we'd probably be fairly open minded."

Wow... That would be interesting. Could be really scary though. Many a goalie's career has been ruined by being thrown into the NHL too early. Dan Blackburn anyone?

Wow, Lehner is commited isn't he...
But with LeClaire's sensational performance in the playoffs and Elliot's potential i just HAVE to think that Lehner will be the starter in Bingo next year.
This is what i believe will happen:
LeClaire+Elliot become Sens goalies...Lehner goes to AHL...After 20-30 games, if one struggles badly than Lehner will be called up and i believe he won't go back down.

Some goalies were thrown under-pressure and didn't perform, true.
But Lehner WANTS to be thrown. Moving from the SEL to the OHL seemed like nothing to him than comes in the AHL and in 2 games wins them both, one was a solid 30 save performance.

Haha, SEL to OHL would actually be a pretty big downgrade. He played junior in Sweden. Anyways, as good as Lehner is, I think it is HIGHLY unlikely he will play even one game in the NHL next year. I would be ecstatic if he even earns the starting job in Binghamton at his age, but I will be more than happy if he so much as splits the starting job and plays 30-40 games. Also, with both Markstrom and Anders Nilsson now 20, it is all but guaranteed Lehner will be Sweden's starting goalie at the World Juniors in Buffalo this winter. That should be a huge experience for him.
