[Rumour] Gerber to KHL?

Twitter sources are telling me he has signed with a KHL team - no confirmations as yet...

The team Emery was with from what I've read.

No team in the NHL wanted him anyways, so, who cares?

I dunno, call me stupid but I always had a soft spot for the guy. I always preferred Gerber to Emery...and I know you won't like that but it's true

He was terrible to start the year and just didn't do enough when he got that second chance with the Leafs.

I didn't think Emery was terrible or anything...I just liked Gerber. Who knows, maybe Gerber will come back next year and do really well too.

He certainly handled himself with bucketloads more class than Emery did - even when he knew he had to go.

Gerber could give lessons to alot of NHLers on how to behave like a mature adult........ Heatley would be a great 1st candidate for the class!

That I can't argue with, but I just felt he cost us way too much I cannot have a soft spot for him. Emery was our guy during the run, whether he was overrated or not he did help us there. Also, I always felt he took too much heat from the the media and felt bad for him. I hope the best to both of them anyways.
