Buffalo Sabres' first round pick in the past 2009 NHL Entry Draft has been suspended 20 games by OHL Commissioner David Branch for a head shot to Matt Kennedy of the Barrie Colts. The hit gave Matt Kennedy his 5th concussion (according to TSN) and ever since the hit, Matt Kennedy has been speaking with family and friends about retiring from hockey.

I saw the hit..and its a well deserved suspension.

As for Cormier, I'm hoping the Q league will follow the footsteps the Ontario league took in the Michael Liambas/ Ben Fanelli case.
