The Official World Junior Championships Thread
They're on the verge of beginning, so this will be the thread to keep everything in so nothing gets cluttered. Games, news, notes, etc... will all be discussed in this thread.
Can a mod/admin sticky this please?

I don't mind, I don't remember exactly, I bought them in July, about around a grand after tax. The cool thing about that is I added up the face value of the tickets and its a little over 1500 before tax. I am a man who loves a good deal .
According to my tickets, the gold medal game is 160, the bronze game is 110 and the semifinals are 135 each.

Canada's defense looks to be incredible. Of the 7 defensemen on the team, 5 are first round picks and 2 are second round picks. A great combination of size and strength (Cowen, Teubert), all-around play (Pietrangello, Hamonic, Scandella, De Haan) and offense (Ellis).

-Patrice Cormier has been named the captain for Team Canada. They will rotate Assistant captains between Stefan Della Rovere, Jordan Eberle, Ryan Ellis, Alex Pietrangelo and Colten Teubert.
Tomorrow's exhibition game is against Sweden and it will be on TSN2 at 8 PM.

Oh I may not even be working, but probably will. At least I've got the Gold Medal rounds all booked off for the Olympics (they better make it this year!). But if not, I can watch the women!
