The Official Montreal Canadiens Thread
Toronto has one, why not my Habs? How do you guys think the Habs will do this year, please don't be biased when answering that question.
Habs currently lead 1-0 over the Panthers in pre-season action. Gomez scored the goal and it was assisted by Spacek and Cammalleri!
GO HABS GO!

Carey Price saves all 9 of the shots he faced as he'll be replaced by Curtis Sanford now.

People call us midgets, yet, we're better than we were last season... typical. It's alright, just more people that'll be proved wrong at the end of the year again.

It's likely he'll be starter in Hamilton and be called up if Price or Halak gets injured.
Who's better? Sanford or Denis? Didn't watch a whole lot of Sanford on Vancouver last year... or.. any year for that matter.

There's not 1 top 6 forward on that team right now that's over 6 feet tall...that's a midget team if you ask me.

Our defensive system seems to be working like a charm. We've only allowed 10 shots on a goal all game long mid-way through the second. I like it.
Good. He seems more trustworthy in goal than Denis did if Price or Halak drops with injury, and in Price's case, it was actually quite a bit last year, sadly.

Kostitsyn is 6'0" and a bit over 200 pounds.
Gomez is centering Cammalleri and Andrei Kostitsyn tonight.
Plekanec is centering Gionta and either Pacioretty/D'Agostini/S.Kostitsyn tonight.
Whatever it is, these lines are clicking. 3-0 already. I love it!

nvm, just checked on habs inside/out, Gionta and Pleks aren't playing. These players are all playing though:
Price, Sanford
Markov, Spacek, Gorges, O'B, Benoit, Subban
Cammalleri, Gomez, AK46, Gui!, Max, D'Ags, Stewart, Johansson, Trotter, Darche, Desharnais, White
I think Plekanec and Gionta will play tomorrow night.
Max in that list = Maxim Lapierre
and Vertigo, our goal song from 2007-2008, is back this year it seems.
