Default The Official Washington Capitals Thread

I love this team!

Ovie, Backstrom, Semin, Green, etc... just awesome! And today was funny.

Backstrom interview, Ovechkin slams pie in his face.

Backstrom: Before game!?
Boudreau: Yeah, now I'm not going to play him!

But yeah, does Ovie still have a chance for 70 goals?

If they stay healthy and Ovenchken keeps his head on his shoulders, this team may go all the way

Seeing how the name Ovechkin derives from the word "ovechka" which in Russian is lamb, well, you tend to get the food idea. Sort of.

Semyon Varlamov will miss two more weeks with a lower-body injury.

He's already missed much of, if not, all of December.

The only problem with this team is defense...

But people say "Offense is the best defense"

I did not watch the game yesterday but apparently AO did to Campbell what Lapierre did to Nichol earlier this month. Will Ovechkin face a 4 games suspsension or because he brings the crowd, he'll have a slap on the hand?!?
