I don't think the Bruins have to worry about that

You also missed Foligno and Kuba, 2 rather important Senators.
How much games did Foligno and Kuba miss?

Gill, Markov, Gionta, Metropolit and O'Byrne have all be significant losses this season. Gomez too, but we got him back quick.

Gill? The guy's a traffic cone out there.

Ok sorry, that was a little harsh. A freakishly BIG traffic cone!

Foligno was out a couple of weeks. Kuba missed a large part of the beginning of the season.

You obviously haven't seen Hal Gill since he's returned from his injury play for the Habs if you think that. He's been one of our best defenseman, and has been dominant on the PK since he's returned from his injury.

Well, I don't make a habit of watching the Habs, you are correct, but I have seen Hal Gill play for Boston, Toronto and Pittsburgh - and the one thing he has consistently been is SLOW. Like, unbelievably slow. Slower than a wet week.

And for a guy his size, he's soft too.

I'd say Ottawa has had more injury problems than Montreal. We also missed Fisher for a couple games. Leclaire for a good while. Kuba for quite a few games. Volchenkov for a while. Spezza for (projected) 7 weeks, Alfie for a month or more, Foligno for two weeks, Neil out for a month, Donovan out for a month, Picard out a few games.

He's been physical for the Canadiens.

4th most hits amongst Habs D.

That's not really awe-inspiring...

I don't expect him to have an atrocious amount of hits. You said it, he's slow. If he goes to make a hit, he's then out of position. He does lay a few hits though, and is really strong in holding players along the boards and usually keeps players to the outside. So, I'm OK with Gill's play this season.

I didn't like the signing at first, but now I love it.

I watched him in Toronto, Pittsburgh and Montreal. I wouldn't mind him as a bottom pairing defenseman but for the amount he's making I wouldn't want him.

True.

Vanek will score 2 tomorrow night. That's my prediction.

lol, Vanek is killing me in the fantasy league, forgive my wishful thinking

Actually, the way Tim Connolly has been playing with Hecht and Pommer, that's probably the line to watch.

Let's trade Vanek for Ovechkin Matt.

Nah, he'll break out. And the Sabres are awesome, especially Miller. He's not killing either of my teams.
