Default The Official San Jose Sharks Thread

Complete with #15 on your score cards, #1 in your heart, DANY HEATLEY!

The Sharks might get off to a slow start, but make no mistake, they'll be around come playoff time.

Second game of the season, not opener.

Heatley had two assists. He and Thornton will be a lethal combination.

I don't see Heatley being AS effective in the West. I have said and will say it Everytime I'm asked about him!

That, and the whining SOB doesn't deserve to enjoy one iota of success IF going to the West doesn't phase him

I have center ice SO, I'll have the 411 on Mr. Hetard!

Get home from work tomorrow and I'll click on the Sharks and Kings and hope the Kings Kick the Shark's ass!

They won't kick the Sharks ass if Doughty makes those horrible turnovers again like he did vs Phoenix. Those were HORRIBLE.

He scored his first goal as a Shark last night in LA. The Sharks lost 4-6.

I'm actually so glad that the Kings won. Nabokov wasn't in his prime - that's for sure. Greiss was just unlucky on the GWG, but LA showed some effort there.

Heater - 18 goals, number one in the NHL
Big Joe - 25 assists, number one in the NHL
Big Joe - 32 points, number two in the NHL, about to dethrone Kopitar

Oh yeah...

oh, and did I forget to mention, The Heat Is On!

Joe Thronton is the best assistant in the league. His assists are great!

i wish i could see heatley play on a team with out someone to pass him the puck while he just lazily stands on side of the net. IMO he would haveeeee..............7 goals. he never does the work himself he makes other people do the work then he takes most of the credit because he ends up with the goal, even though michalek isnt as good as heatley, im glad we have him, way more work ethic

^ Have you seen him in SJ? He's playing a more responsible game and is actually working hard. He's really been a surprise this year.

And Joe Thornton is arguably the best passer in the NHL right now.

Thornton used to make a great duo with Cheechoo, but now it seems like he's going along with Heatley really well.

If Big Joe got 96 assists with Cheechoo on his wing, is it possible Thornton can get 100 assists with Heatley on his wing?

San Jose is playing in Edmonton tonight. I really wish this game was on TV. I think I'll try to find a link online (yes, even if I hate watching online) just to see how the crowd is...everytime Heatley touches the puck....

3 out of the top 5 scorers this year are on this team.

Thornton is first, with 36 points (2nd place player is Gaborik, 3 points behind).
Marleau is 4th with 31 points and Heatley is 5th with 30 points.

I hope Thornton wins the scoring race this year.
