Default The Official Vancouver Canucks Thread

Always been in my top 5, in my top three (Montreal, Vancouver, Pittsburgh). This team is for real this year, it's very scary.

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
Shirokov - Kesler - Samuelsson
Raymond - Wellwood - Bernier
Hordichuk - Johnson - Rypien

O'Brien - Bieksa
Mitchell - Ehrhoff
Edler - Salo
Schneider

Luongo
Raycroft

I think it's going to be a huge year for the Canucks this year, possibly heading back to the Stanley Cup Finals.

TSN also predicts this team to finish 2nd in the Western Conference this year, can't say I really disagree either.

Trevor Linden was a warrior.

I remember when he came to the Islanders in particular...we lost a lot to get him and didn't get much in return (I think he was traded the next season for a pick), but he was such a great player and even better leader.

They don't call him Captain Canuck for nothing

To be fair, he's only played 4 games or so.

But his performance in place of Luongo has been absolutely amazing if you don't count the Anaheim game.

He allowed 1 goal vs LA, shutout the Avalanche and allowed 1 goal vs the Rangers.

He's allowed 6 goals in 4 games since Lou has been injured.

Well people who saw him play for Boston know that he has skills, it's the consistency that lets him down.

Alex Burrows has back-to-back hat tricks and 7 goals in his last 3 games!

That Sedin-Sedin-Burrows line is f***ing amazing. Like... f***ing AMAZING.

And Henrik Sedin has the league lead in points and is on pace for over 100.
