I still think the Vancouver Canucks will win the Northwest division this year and will make it to the Western Conference Finals, maybe even further (Cup finals?)
I said this before the pre-season and I'll say it again, Vancouver is Canada's best chance at bringing the cup home. Tremendous depth, great goaltender and a solid defense group when healthy.

What about the Senators... last playoffs they played, they were shutout by the Pens (and I'm not trying to be rude...).

I still don't see anything bad in cheering for your team, not judging after a few bad games, and supporting no matter what. This is something called "being a fan".

But it won't be luck. I'm sure everyone is pretty aware the Canucks can do some damage in the playoffs, maybe they're like the Sharks and are just playoff underachievers... maybe they'll change that this year (and I really think they'll be able to do that this year).

To be honest, I don't expect the Stanley Cup for the Sens anytime soon either.

As I said a couple posts down, it's the same for all Canadian teams, and the Canucks have some of the most irritating fans and much higher hopes than any other team it seems.
And I said I liked them, I was never a fan.

Of course it won't be luck. Sharks and Canucks will do better, believe me.

Maybe you not, but some do...
...and I gotta say that you are probably the most respectful Senators fan I have ever seen on these boards. Kudos dude !

It seems like you are anti-Canucks no matter what, so I'm not even going to answer, because it won't change anything.

Hey Josh,
Just wanted to let you know that I have a total lack of respect for everyone here except you. You are like a knight in shining armour to this board, and if it wasn't for you, I would let people like Goaliethefirst know how I truly feel.

Defining "people like Goaliethefirst":
Brilliant. Hockey-mad and not afraid to say so. A real blessing for hockey fans, especially on Internet forums. Will surely have his name on Lord Stanley's Cup one day.

Funny how you quote the thing about Sens not winning the Cup and say that Matt is respectful based on that.
He is quite respectful, but you're implying that everyone here thinks that the Sens are the best team in the NHL or something?
And being anti-Canucks makes me everyone's archenemy #1. Wow.

I know I don't think anything of the sort, I have stated that clearly enough just in this thread alone.
Yah, that didn't come out right, don't mind it, ugh, whatever.
