Sharks win 5-4 in a shoot-out over the Oilers. P. Marleau with a hat-trick, J. Pavelski with thw only goal of the shoot-out, Heatley had just 1 assist and was booed soundly every time he touched the puck.

The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Vancouver Canucks in one of the contest presented earlier today. Eric Cole with the hat trick (1 regular, 1 PP goal and 1 empty netter) lead the Canes in scoring. Sergei Samsonov and Ray Whitney added the other goals for Carolina.
On the Canucks side, the goals came from Jannick Hansen, Steve Bernier and Alexandre Burrows. Henrik Sedin picks up 2 assists.
Andrew Raycroft and Manny Legace were in net
Shots on net were 36-28 for Vancouver.

Edmonton defeated the Stars 3-2 in a shootout. Jamie Benn and James Neal for the Stars & Lubomir Visnovsky and Ladislav Smid for the Oilers...all scored in regulation time. Shawn Horcoff got the Oilers' winning goal in the shootout, he was the ten shooter to go.
Shots on net were 36-35 for Edmonton
Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers & Marty Turco were the starting goalies

Heatley has to learn to keep his head up, especially when Phaneuf is on the ice.
