I know this says post-game discussion..but how about pre game..
I just wanted to pointed out there are some interesting match-ups tonight. For starters, we have the Leafs (3-11-5, 11 PTS) visiting the Canes (3-12-5, 11 PTS) who have a similar season start. Should be interesting to see the level of competition between the two (and I don't mean that sarcasticaly). Canes lost their last game in Mtl in a shootout after leading 2-1 for most of the game. Leafs, well, we all know what happened in their last game, most of us were watching. Both teams are long overdue for a serious dominating game, if not physically, maybe offensively..who knows.
In a completely different type of game, we have Chicago (12-5-2, 26 PTS) visiting Calgary (12-5-2, 26 PTS). Last time these two met, Flames were leading 5-0 and lost 6-5 in OT...
There are other match-ups but these two will have my attention tonight, aside from the Sens game of course.

So Canes won 6-5 in a shootout after trailing 3-0! Good for them!
And that Cole goal in the last few seconds to tie it...wow. Can you imagine the energy in the locker room after that game!

After the game in Anaheim there was a fight in the stands over Niedermayer's stick. Like, a fist fight. Some girl was pounding everyone.

Wicked. I think, depending on her age, I would have pushed her back for an Alfie stick.

Anyone see the goal by Stamkos last night? Knocked his own rebound in while falling on his ass, amazing play.

Put the guy on Team Canada!
Hell, I made a thread for the goal alone, it's worth it.

It was like a 25 year old fighting a big dude, but Niedermayer's stick was for the little girl (looked like 5 in the video) in the front row.

Oh, well then I would have left it for the little girl. (Even though her daddy would probably have never let her touch it again.)

Selanne is probably the best 40-year old in the NHL right now. (he's 40 right?)

Well he's the best of the oldest players in the league, that's for sure. Looks like he's going out with a bang, 'cause rumour has it this is his last season.
There go my predictions this night.

Talk about confidence ! J.S. Giguere rocks right now, after he was out of the game for a while, he's now back and better ! I'm really glad for him.
