TOTALLY deserved to be a 5 minute major.

Mike F***ing Milbury and Pierre "Turtle" McGuire were bitching in the intermission that it shouldn't have been punished so harshly.

Well I was bitching along with them and I don't have any love for the great 8 but that hit does not deserve a game. No way you see this twice a game with the stupid icing rule. Shake your heads and have another look.

I never said I agreed with the game penalty, but that is definitely a major for boarding.

New York Islanders beat the Leafs 4-1

Pittsburgh has a come from behind 2-1 victory over Tampa Bay. They trailed 1-0 going into the 3rd but Pascal Dupuis and Sergei Gonchar both chipped in and the Penguins won. Downie had a controversial incident on Sidney Crosby, where he slew footed him and pulled him down. Crosby appeared to be in a lot of pain, but continued to play, claiming his foot was "a little sore". Steven Stamkos caught Matt Cooke with his head down near the blueline and stood him up.

Phoenix beat Atlanta 3-2 in a shootout. Wolski, who was one, if not the best shootout guy last year, missed once again and is now 1 for 10 this year. Adrian Aucoin scored the shootout winner in the 4th round, after Peverly and Vrbata each had goals in the 3rd round. Aucoin is a surprising 4 for 4 so far in shootouts this year.

I'm watching Devils-Penguins. Devils lead 3-1.

Kunitz opened the scoring by sniping one past Brodeur. Zubrus got one on a sick no look pass by Elias to catch the Penguins on a bad line change. He deked and put it by Fleury to tie the game. I didn't see Martin's goal, but he scored in his 1st game back since October. Zajac had a breakaway SH but got ROBBED by Fleury's glove. Then, literally 10 seconds later the Penguins gave up another SH breakaway and Elias made them pay. Both times were when the defense were passing to each other along the blueline and got it stolen by a Devil.

Ducks beat the Blackhawks 4-2. Saku Koivu scored the GWG in the 3rd period on a controversial goal. Sopel was reaching for the puck (it was flipped high in the air), and before he could touch it was cross-checked from behind by Corey Perry. The puck came loose and Koivu netted the game winner.

Seabrook hammered Perry on a questionable high hit from behind, and Wisniewski hammered Seabrook with a high elbow to the face. It appears Seabrook got KO'd hard. It's bad to watch.
