Montreal Canadiens @ Toronto Maple Leafs - First 09-10 game of season (CBC)

For me, this game is like two steaming turds on a ramp, seeing who can slide to the bottom first. Either way they are both turds.

But in the end, despite my dislike for the leafs, I do hate the Habs even more.

I get the feeling that Toronto's plan to muscle its way to the cup isnt going to do the trick.

Its physical, but Toronto isn't the steamrolling bulldog that they were praised to be. Still very loosey-goosey play by the habs.

Would you expect any different? I mean, at one stage there they had Mara AND Gill out there - that's gotta the slowest moving D-pairing I have ever seen.

Then the 4th line comes out there at the end of the period and almost get scored on.

2-2 end of 2

and in Boston it's 3-0 Washington.

Price looks amazing. We have Spacek now instead of no one to move the puck and quarterback the PP after Markov now, just don't ever pair up Gill-Mara together ever again and we're fine.
