Default The Battle of the Losers pro Olympics

The Ottawa Senators take on the Toronto Maple Leafs at Scotia Bank Place on Saturday March 6th CBC(HD), NHLN-US(HD) 7 PM Eastern

cn_alf5.jpg Neither of these teams are winning over new fans since the Olympic break. Could it be due to a lack of Gold medals in the dressing rooms or simply a lack of hard work. One thing I know is it's time to see if the Senators have what it takes to finish on top of their division. Cause if they can't beat the Leafs they may as well get out the Golf Clubs now and save me buying expensive playoff tickets.

Ottawa-Senators-Toronto-Maple-Leafs.jpg It won’t come down to Daniel Alfredsson or Dion Phaneuf. It won’t matter if Orr takes down Carkner or even if Neil fights with Phaneuf it will come down to who scores the first and wining goal. This team has to gel as a unit again and now is the time. Mike Fisher best get your head off of Underwoods Pillow and back into the Game. Alfie sorry no medals but there is a big cup at the top of the playoff mountain and it is within your reach. Everyone of you guys on the blue liner owe your goalies a second chance. Play with your heads on swivels and strong on your feet. Forwards drive that net with your heads held high and for heaven sakes shoot the puck Spezza.

THE STARTING LINE UPS AS PER THE VERY BEST RELIABLE SOURCE on the net today

You should put the game description (time, etc.) in the topic, just to make it more sorted.

You should maybe let a man finish his work before criticizing him and looking like a fool or at the very least read the entire page.

Gustavsson starts!

Gustavsson's first start, Daniel Alfredsson, in Toronto, penalty shot, Burke standing, and Alfie scores a SICK goal. And the sequence leading up to the penalty shot and the goal itself was pretty funny because Alfie is one of the league's most underrated players, while Schenn and Gustavsson are some pretty overrated players.

Well, Gustavsson is confirmed already...

I was thinking that maybe its time to bring Brodeur in to put the train back on track...

Brodeur started our last streak when Elliott was sick, let's see him do it again!

From TSN Ice Chips:

Several Ottawa players are battling the flu, so the team may call up a few players for Saturday's game against Toronto. Head Coach Cory Clouston wouldn't announce his starting goalie.

Two teams! One rivalry! Zero goaltending! It's the Battle of Ontario, tonight on CBC!

Down Goes Brown

Let's dress A-Train in goalie equipment I'm sure he'd find a way to do a great job at blocking shots...

And have Sutton play in front to block all the other shots

So far just the one call up. Zach Smith will join the team and will play tonight. There was talk about calling up a bunch of guys but it sounds like a few guys will try to play through the illness.
