To take an in depth look at this the best thing that could happen may be to give the start back to Leclair due to Elliott being ill. It gets Cory of the hook for what I think was a mistake plus it puts Pascall back on the horse.

I honestly never really paid that much attention to him when he was with the Islanders but watching him the other night in a Sens jersey...is he ever a big boy!

Yeah.. I only said to put Brodeur in because he was the one in front of the net when the Sens broke their losing streak....but in reality, I would like nothing more than to see Leclaire bounce back. If he does get the call tonight, lets hope the boys in front of him will play hardball and don't leave him up to dry.

They need to play a very strong game tonight...if they don't want to make it 3 in row.

Not only 3 in a row but two losses in a row to Toronto (shutters) faints and goes to the fridge for a beer.

Down Goes Brown

The funny thing is:

Giguere = 6 million
Gustavsson = 2.5 million

Leclaire = 3.8 million
Elliott = 0.85 million

One team is actually investing a lot of money into their goaltending. One team isn't investing a lot. Not to mention the cheaper goalie tandem has had a better year.

Earlier today I read someone talking about the Leafs cap situation, and it sucks. They have over 30 million invested into their defense, plus another 8.5 million into their defense. 5.4 million on Kessel. It doesn't give them a lot of room to build a good forward group. Leafs are paying way too much for defenseman playing on their bottom pair. You should have cheap players making around 1 million playing on your bottom pair. *cough* Ian White?
