Agreed. I hate the guy. He is a dirty player and a filthy person. A disgrace to the game. A general piece of shit all around.

Well, it took forever to get out of Scotiabank parking. Parking staff shit the bed.
My thoughts on the game:
Cluston juggled the defensive lines so poorly when Kuba left. He should have left Philips and Volchenkov togher, but he split them horribly. Downright bad pairing. Horrible matchups.

Volchenkov had the worst game I have seen in as long as I can recall. He was slow, sloppy and generally horrible at everything. He blocked a few shots, but he didnt lay any big hits, fanned on passes, horrible passes, and blew a tire 3-4 times. I get that he just came off the olympics, but common train, Lee looked like a star compared to you.

I dont care how fancy Kovalev is with the puck, you fancy stick handling is fail if you dont move your feet.

Kelly....So many chances only to fudge it up with horrible decisions.

Carkner needs to be prepared to lay someone out. You cant just wait for them to skate past you.

Lee wasnt horrible, his pokecheck was awesome.

Elliott was crap. We have two -B goaltenders.

Weak game all around. No physical presence. Out coached.

I think the fact that Elliot let in that first goal changed the momentum completely.

My biggest surprise was that Cluston failed to adjust accordingly.

I don't know why the organization and the fans don't have confidence in Elliot. While I don't watch all the Sens games, the times I have seen Elliot play, he has been quite capable.

Elliott Suck but
Elliott's twin brother has not yet made it back from Vancouver, rumour has it that as soon as he sells his newly aquired gloves and stick he will be back in the net. Hence the turning point for the Senators.

I'd say Clouston does have confidence in Elliott, we've seen that with all these starts he's had in a row, and to be fair it's been hard to fault him up until last night.

Leclaire is not suited to being a backup. People around here know by now that I'm a fan of Alex Auld, and had we kept him to back up Elliott on the odd occasion I'd feel more comfortable.

In short, Elliott plays too much to be comfortable with and I feel Leclaire is not his ideal handcuff.

Well said Matt you can also boil it down by saying that Elliott is not confident in Elliott. Give him a few nights off and he will be a perfect back up goalie for PL. I too liked Auld he was dealt a bad hand.

That sucks because the 13 year old girl did an amazing job at singing both anthems.
