I have to respectfully disagree. Elliott is average at best, and has only ever been average throughout his career. Stats back that up. Even now, at his best, he is just a placeholder for Leclair, who, despite being in a slump, has much more potential and talent then Elliott. That being said, neither of these two are set to be starters. Elliott played well through our streak, but the team infront played the best they have all season. A true #1 is able to steal the game even when the guys infront are sucking. We cant rely on a #1 who needs max confidence to beat the Leafs.
I see him back in the AHL next year as I cant see Leclair staying on long.

You see him in the AHL?
I don't think so... What are your reasons for that?

I understand what you mean by Elliot being average and all but i disagree completely.
I know potential when i see it and Elliot is a fine example of it.
Elliot has improved in almost everything since last year, there is NO way he should not continue this improvement and become a bonafide NHL netminder.
Elliot dominated the AHL with outstanding stats and people thought he wasn't gonna go far cause the AHL is the AHL.
Want an example? Think Ryan Miller.
I am not saying Elliot will be the next Miller, i am saying Elliot in 2-3 years will definatley be a starter, unless he crumples up and gets destroyed by the media. Think Vesa Toskala.

I'm watching Boston College vs Boston Uni, they will show Ottawa next the only reason i am watching is cause Gryba is playing(Sens prospect) and he is so STRONG! No one can knock the puck out of that guy lmao it took 2 people.
