I just got a call from the sens, I'm playing in place of Cheechoo tonight. Wish me luck!

Wow, I'm a little shocked..I know Elliott is hot but back to back games, and to sit a $4 million dollar goalie who's healthy??

Skippy, how does it feel to cheer for the Sens and pretend to cheer for the Leafs at the same time?

.... or vice versa

I was too, Ski.

I know there's the whole "run him while he's hot" and we're playing Vancouver, but poor Elliott will drop of exhaustion soon...

I fully expect Leclaire to play Saturday instead. If he doesn't, there's something serious there.

Well I can understand Elliott playing tonight over leclaire, considering Vancouver is easily one of the best teams int he league right now. Elliott is hot and playing very well where as Leclaire may be healthy but still probably better to ease him back into playing regularly against a weaker team in the leafs or Calgary..........Vancouver is going to be a hard win tonight and elliott is better right now than leclaire has been all season

I sure hope the sens can pull off a huge win tonight!!!!!!

Lmao i knew someone would mention this

Anyway, Sens playing Elliot in net is a strong position by Clouston.

Elliot is the hottest goalie in the NHL as of late and playing him tonight should be something special in many ways.

Ottawa is on a LONG winning streak and this game will determine just how good the Sens really are, what better way to continue the winning streak than with the goalie that has stolen almost half the games for us.

If Elliot wins this game, it will most likely be a statement game by him and will show us how really confident he has become to backstop us against weak teams, and REALLY strong ones.

Plus if Elliot wins it will break a franchise record(and personal record) for games won in a row, with 9.

Elliot has been our best/most consistent player these last 8 games, why drop him out when we face our(arguably) biggest challenge yet?

It says:

Clouston expected to play same lines as he did against Buffalo.

I want to ask something though.

The lines in which he STARTED buffalo sent us nowhere.

Shannon was on the 4th line.

After the first period the lines became like this:

Michalek-Spezza-Alfredsson
Shannon-Regin-Kovalev
Cheechoo-Fisher-Winchester
Ruutu-Kelly-Neil

Those lines won us the game.

Shannon was arguably our best player creating chances that game.

Also that 3rd line looked so aggressive, so i expect Clouston to roll those lines cause they are the reason why we won.

The term "lines" is a very fluid concept to Cory Clouston, as you know.

I must say, for a coach who moves his lines SO much, non have been more effective or got better results than Clouston.

Clouston is one HELLUVA coach!
