First off...wow is the only thing I can think of.

Regin goal was outstanding but...what overshadowed that goal was the save by Elliot.

The last time somebody made that kind of save was by Patrick Roy with the Avalanche (when he dived at the puck to prevent the empty net goal). That was a shot from far away, but what Elliot saved was a shot only a few meter away from Marian Hossa.

Some haters said it was his own mistake and he recovered it, Its not a good save at all (will post a thread later on about this)...

yah I know...its a total BS. But after all its a comment from a sabres fan and penguins fan...they don't know shit about this save.

Agreed. It seems Elliott has bad luck, though. The save was good luck, and a very good effort, too, but there was that goal vs Anaheim that was bad.
