Its been 3 years...less support around him..means he has to do more. He ain't 20 anymore and he ain't gonna be here forever. That said, I don't want a team leaning on one player, or one line.....I want a team that has the entire roster worker their butts off every game, or at least almost every game

This is where...Regin, Petersson, Silfverberg, Foligno, Michalek, Karlsson, Cowen, Wiercioch stand up and say AYE!
Hopefully Spezza can pronounce that word too...

And I say, I'll see when they actually make the team, in the meantime, they are not here and this lineup is playing like they don't care.
Something needs to be shaken up...the cage needs to be rattled...but I don't want it to be the coach. I want a trade, a move...anything. This team has no heart beat at the moment.

I mentioned the youth cause it's the only god damn bright spot we have left in any aspect of this team.
You look at strong scorers and you hear young players/prospects.
You hear strong defence you think of Karlsson/Cowen/Wiercioch
You hear of solid goaltending you imagine Lehner.
NON of our current players are good at anything.
Expect guys that are young like Folgino, Michalek, Winchester, Regin.

I know...with the countless injuries, its hard to have a functional team and expect something decent of this......special units are also affected by these injuries..I know I know. But the remaining players are all healthy (as far as I know) and capable of maintaining a level of play that should be more competitve than what they are showing....

Not really...
When we had our top line the defence would focus on shutting them down and therefore Kovalev's line would shine because of his high skill and Fisher's determination.
With that line out...This team sucks like shit...
They are actually preforming how they are supposed to be:
Kovalev=Skill but when u cover him than he'll play hudini tricks and pretend not being there.
Fisher= Solid top 6 but horrific top 3.
That's it...That's as far as skill goes.
Guys who have preformed well are Regin, Shannon, Foligno. These guys are supposed to be strong depth players until they gain experience and get better.
IMO this team is playing exactly how it should be.
The defence is just too funny to breakdown oh lord help me.

The only line that has ever showed heart was our 3rd line and they continue to show heart.
Cheechoo-Kelly-Ruutu has arguably been our best line at everything.
Fisher can't seem to get anything done against top pairing D's of the opposing D and seriously if you watch the games it all comes down to like defence and goaltending.
Against Carolina for example our team was hanging in there and it was 1-1.
BAMMMMMMMM Leclaire acts stupid and its 2-1...They get the momentum and don't look back from then on.
I think if this team wants to be better and win games in any way they have to start from the net OUT.

Your right, I can't wait for our healthy lineup!!!

This team needs major changes.

I'd keep Kuba if we can get some real defenders to help cover for him, he is pretty decent offensively, when he isn't being relied on to... well, play defense. I think Karlsson would benefit more from staying up, and he isn't our biggest liability on the ice (YEAH KOVALEV, I'M TALKING ABOUT YOU).
I'm still not sold on shopping Spezza just yet, but I pretty much agree with the rest.

lol, yes, he was TERRIBLE on that particular PP. Every single time he touched the puck, something else went wrong.
I would also keep Ruutu for another year or so. I like that he tries hard each night, and he has a very respectable offensive game for a bottom 6 forward.
