I guess the only saving grace is that they have to forget this one real fast with the game in Carolina tomorrow @ 5pm.

Our D's have been playing like timbits since after the Cup Finals

Pylon: Positive (costs only few bucks. Can stay in position). Negative (cannot move)

Kuba: Positive (is pretty good offensively). Negative (wonder around like a fool. Cannot check...way too soft. He makes good passes...only to the other team)

I came to the conclusion that if Kuba can't get any better sooner or later, we should just get a pylon. It can do what Kuba can't, and that is staying in position.

I just drove back home after going to the game tonight. A few things of note. The one positive is it only took me 20 mins to get out of the parking lot and down the Queensway and home. Definitely the only positive about being in a city that doesn't support the team even when it is in a slump like this. They announced a crowd of just over 16K...NO WAY! There were at most 12K in there. You could drop a pin and hear it. Pathetic. Way to show support Ottawa!

I guess it is hard to support a team on the ice that has only one player that actually made any effort tonight. Foligno was the only one out there that skated and tried. To bad his linemates were asleep. Too bad Elliot was pathetic yet again. All in all...every aspect of the game and of this team was brutal tonight. I said it before and I say it again...show Eli Wilson the door. He's a goalie killer. As well...this team is NOT making it into the playoffs without a swift kick in the ass to wake them up.

Brutal.

Here is some optimism for you then. Foligno played hard the entire game. Karlsson continues to get better every game. The empty parking lot made it easy to get home.

From the past few weeks...enlighten me on what we as fans have seen to be optimistic. And how do you see our team being a playoff contender even with those missing bodies in the lineup?

If we end up in the middle...get Ryan Spooner. This guy is on fire.
Fowler is going to be one of the best defensive prospects. He's going to be like an immediate impact defenceman like Erik Johnson like Hedman, maybe not as GOOD as them but definatley just as important.

Also i agree with Rayon.

Karlsson getting better, Foligno such a hardworker, Regin improving game by game, Elliot sucking, defenceman sucking etc...

Yo Rayon you forgot to mention one of the best positives to come out of this game. Kuba injuried. Maybe our defence can actually do something now.

And 19jason where do you get this information from? Kuba has sucked like shit on offence recently.

1. Pascal, do you REALLY think the Sens can be worse than the Edmonton Oilers, Carolina Hurricanes, Toronto Maple Leafs (1st round pick belongs to Boston), Columbus Blue Jackets, St. Louis Blues, etc... for the remainder of the season?

2. Cam Fowler will make an immediate impact in the National Hockey League. In his prime, his comparable will be Scott Niedermayer, in my opinion. At the WJC, you could see the potential was DEFINITELY there, and that he will be a great defenseman in the National Hockey League. The one thing he doesn't have going for him though, is his physical play.

the game sucked, lol

I saw shirtless Leafs fan yelling "GO LEAFS GO" all throughout the game (untill the out of town scoreboard was shown), which was very very strange.

hmmmm... best player I would have to say was Kelly.. he worked hard...

other than that the game was pretty brutal, brutal offence, brutal goaltending, brutal attendance, brutal everything.. PLUS 2 more injuries..

I went to 2 games where we get shutout this season, one in the preseason VS Boston and one tonight.. I should just stop going, LOL.

Umm ye i do think that.

After all Carolina walked by us on that game.

I want to see how Spezza and Alfy play first, when they come back that is. Than i'll give my real prediction

St. Louis should be better than Ottawa, Columbus at the same level, and Carolina just a tad weaker.
