I'm a season ticket holder for the team's first season back since the 2000-2001 season when we won the cup.

Last night was opening night at our arena, Solar Bears won 4-3 via a shootout that lasted almost 10 rounds.

They may not be NHL caliber players, but it's definitely exciting to watch. Next home game is Thursday, can't wait!

Our star player so far is Nick Peterson, he had a hat trick last night, and also hit the post a few times.

Pretty awesome

So I noticed at Sunday's game, Broduer is still rocking a mask with the heritage Ottawa logo on the back. Thought that was pretty cool.

Unfortunately he played a pretty bad game, letting in a few weak goals. Solar Bears lost their first game at home on Sunday, in the shootout.
