Corvo scares me everytime he shoots.

He scares me every time he is close to the puck.

Washington has piles of firepower, but they really lack solid defense and goaltending. I can see them making it deep, but no cup.

Last time Ottawa played Washington?

6-5 Ottawa won. A single point for the entire line of Ovechkin, Backstrom and Knuble which was the hottest line in hockey coming up to our game.

We had Kuba and Picard together as a pairing. Kuba had 18 minutes while Picard has 15 and both a -4 the other defenceman were even or a plus 1.

Karlsson wasn't playing too.

Elliot had a horrible game.

NOW!!

Philchenkov? Check!
Sutton? CHECK!
Karlsson? CHECKKK
Carkner? Check
Lee/Kuba? Meh but still check!

Leclaire looking like he's back into form? CHECK! Elliot on a streak too? CHECK!!

I think everyone under-estimates Ottawa's defense once Sutton arrives.

The capitals did aquire a few big guns and all jokes aside they will be hard to beat. Oh wait a minute who is in net? Let me close in saying they will have to score a minimum of 4 goals to win a game.

True, but I don't think that bothers them all that much...

Washington's biggest problem was Defense and Goaltending. They just traded their most defensively responsible defenseman for Joe UHOH Corvo...

Again, what is the point of scoring 5 goals if you let in 6...

Except the Caps let it 5 goals but can score 6. That's happened more often time than not.

If they hit a particularly hot streak in the playoffs, they win for sure. Even if they don't, they can still win but could be beaten.

To be honest, what team in the East has a good defence right now. Look at the top teams, Washington, nope, NJ, nope, Ottawa, not really, Buffalo, MILLER, Pittsburgh is the first team with an actually good D
