The tension in the camp of the Montreal Canadiens, and Tempers flared on Thursday for training.

Mike Cammalleri and Maxim Lapierre were the first to come to blows. They were near the team bench during a group exercise where the altercation erupted.

The teammates around them have calmed the game, but this time both players have not made peace. The invectives have blended several minutes.

Jacques Martin has even had to improvise a session of stretching in the middle of the ice, a question of calming the mind. Nothing did, Cammalleri and Lapierre have used the rest to settle a few accounts.

The daily session was also marked by a spat between Glen Metropolit and Travis Moen. Both players, who struggled in goal, began exchanging elbows. The tone has skyrocketed.

In other news, all signs point to Sergei Kostitsyn being paired with Cammalleri and Plekanec when he returns this weekend (most likely).

I think its very healthy to have some scrap between teammates..specially when the team is going through a rough patch. They are human, they can't always agree..and pretend they are in a good mood..

...anyways, I'm sure at the end of the day, they all have a good laugh at it.

I recall a few also ..these guys are a like brothers, a familly. They spend so much time together, its impossible they don't drive each other nuts when the going gets though...

Exactly.... they are pretty much family! Spending almost more time with each other than their own fam's. And when time gets tough, you take it out on the fam!
