Default B-Sens Game Time Highlights Updated..

Tonight vs Syracuse..
-----
Bingo manhandled Syracuse 6-2 tonight in a rather easy win..solid game all around but Syracuse was pretty bad..

Some highlights;
-Physical, scrappy game, goals a plenty Keller, Hamel, Zack, Spencer, Dansereau and Schira
-Brodeur in net, let 2 goals in the 1st but team buckled down and he was hardly tested the rest of the game
-Yabo playing his scrappy type of game, 2 fights but one of them Harvey, didn't want any part of Yabo
-Kudelka a +3 for the night, looks real solid on D
-Zack Smith played a better game then opening night, was in the mix of things and was a facter both physical and offensively

Scratches;
Bannister, Zubov, Bailey

Some stand outs;
-Team is really balanced out offensively
-Schira, Lee, Hamel and both Smith's, Derek and Zack

Oddballs;
-Crowd was taunting 'Cuse goalie LaCosta all night, even mock cheered him after making an easy save
-Sens have scored 11 goals in 2 games

I went to this game. I gotta say, I was pretty positive that we were going to lose when the crunch got the first goal, 15 seconds into the first period. but we came back around and fought back and won. it was a great game!

and nice fights by Yabo

Tonight we got schooled by Calder Cup champ Hershey 8-1..

Some highlights;
-There really wasn't any, Chiodo in net gives up 6 goals in 2 periods..this was his first game in net this season including pre-season
-B-Sens were flat and couldn't match up

Scratches;
Bannister, Yabo, Bailey

Some stand outs;
-Giroux just absolutely distroys us every time, Ottawa should have never got rid of him in a trade

Oddballs;
-Hershey is a dominating team all around, they are favorite to repeat as champs

Next Up;
1:00 meeting @ Bridgeport Monday afternoon

Yup, hopefully the team can just put that behind them and grow from it.

They lost again last night, but it was in overtime, so it wasn't a blowout like the last game.

'Port wins 3-2 in OT, Ex-Sens Greg Mauldin scored 2 goals including the ot game winner, Bingo at least gets a point out of it..

Tonight vs W/B Scranton Penquins..
-----
Bingo lost 6-3 to a hungrier team, Brodeur lifted after giving up 3 goals on 8 shots, Sens need to be more disciplined and stop giving up man advantages

Some highlights;
-It was the W/B show in the 1st, but Bingo came back and had the overall shot advantage but came up short overall
-Team chemistry appears ok, not sure how Lee and Bass feel about playing here and what effects it may or not have, but Bass has done nothing to prove he belongs in the NHL

Scratches;
Baier, Bailey

Some stand outs;
-1st line Keller, St. Pierre and Hamel continue to rack up points
-Lee, Bannister played well together

Oddballs;
-Goalie situation is a tad shaky at the moment
-Sens have lost last 3 games

Tonight vs Hershey Bears..
-----
Bingo lost 3-2 in OT, but a well deserved point out of it, game could've gone either way as Bingo came close to winning it under 3 minutes left in the 3rd..overall much, much better emotionally and grit type of effort..

Some highlights;
-Choido finished w/ 43 saves, solid game in net
-Bass played his best game of the season, hustled, checked and scoring were all absent his first 5 games but he brought it all tonight..

Scratches;
Yabo, Bailey

Some stand outs;
-Hamel has a point in all 6 games
-Zack Smith played like his old self tonight, tough in your face play making hustle, haven't seen that in a while..
-Derek Smith played great, as well as Schira on D..both play zone very well and take the body
-Hennessy had a goal and was more noticeable crashing the net

Oddballs;
-I could hear the team clapping and cheering before the start of the game in the locker room, it was odd but it seemed to be a team rah rah effort, maybe to loosen things up a bit as players have been either trying to hard or lacking in effort..whichever it was it worked..
-Hershey doesn't give up, they are relentless

Another loss for B-Sens, 5 and counting, as they lose in Rochester 4-2..Chiodo gets yanked after letting 3 goals on 9 shots..this goaltending situation is becoming old real quick as either Broduer or Chiodo are consistent enough to be the #1 man..

Zack Smith, O'Brien, Daugavins and Hennessy have shown nothing this season..all busts in my book..

Yes it's early but pattern's are repeating..

I know. I was just fooling around.

I'm sure the goaltending will figure it self out soon enough.

I'm just frustrated, I expected better and it's not happening..there is some serious flaws on this team and it's starting to show earlier then I expected..

I want to see this goalie kid Holt from Elmira to see what he can do..
I also want to see forward Max Gratchev from Russia, also in Elmira..

Both player did well in pre-season and are Ottawa's signees

Chris Holt in particular has some good scouting reports, I wouldn't mind seeing him up.
