Pathetic..Bingo loses 6th in a row 4-3 in Syracuse, 0-8 on the PP, PK was just as bad..

Brodeur for the loss

Finally we see a win as Bingo beats Hershey 5-2 in their barn..troublesome goalie situation continues as Broduer let in 2 goals on 8 shots, but Chiodo cleans up well in mop up duty w/25 saves..

Goal scorer's: Kudelka 2, Daugavins, Zack, and Keller

Next up Rochester in Bingo on the 30th..
-----
Sharp Update:

Following practice Thursday afternoon, I asked B-Sens coach Don Nachbaur if the team had considered or looked into making a personnel change, like maybe getting a forward up from Elmira, or from elsewhere, to perhaps spark some more scoring.

His answer:

"Well, you can identify that just as scoring from the front end, but scoring from the front end comes from puck movement from the back end -- (to) spring guys, to get them in a position to score. And I think it's a group thing. I think we're still working on that. I have to be patient with this because there's a lot of young kids on this team. And you look at our third line with Dansereau, Jimmy O'Brien and Condra, those are three rookies in the lineup. Same with our fourth line. They're all rookies in the American Hockey League. This is all new to them. And you can say that same thing about the back end, it's a brand new back end. So we're still trying to develop a style. But, you can never underestimate the value of hard work and compete level, and I think that's where we failed. We don't play 60 minutes, and that's what we have to improve.

"Like, you look at our third periods. Our third periods have all been strong in our last few games. Even in Bridgeport, where we outshot the other team. Our conditioning's not lacking, it's just our mental focus to the details of the game, and not getting soft at times in the game."

Next up Fri night in Bingo vs Rochester..it'll be good to see Winchester and Karlsson in town and how they mix w/ Lee and Bass as Ottawa's player's..

I'm stoked for this one as Rochester is 8-1-1, won 7 in a row and have the best record in the AHL as last season they were one of the worst, nice turnaround for new GM Ted Nolan as they have new signees in F Graham Mink, F Jeff Taffe, D-man Clay Wilson..Tyler Plante returns in goal..

I would expect Chiodo to start for Bingo as Brodeur was knocked out of the 1st in Hershey w/ dizzy spells..

Tonight vs Rochester..
-----
(This is getting old real quick) B-Sens lose to Amerks 4-2..their 7th loss in last 8 games..PP was 1 for 7 and they had to kill 10 of 11 PK which is awful seeing how many penalty's we took..Bingo is now 3-5-2 for 6th place in the East..we just can't bury the other team when we need to, the effort seems to be there but not enough talent perhaps

Some highlights;
-Chiodo played decent stopping 33 of 36
-Dereck Smith continues to be a solid top 4 pairing, keep an eye on him
-Rochester has a good solid team as they have the best record at 9-1-1 and 3 recent call-ups to Florida, they are still pretty deep

Scratches;
Yabo, O'Brein, Kinrade

Some stand outs;
-Karlsson played ok, 1st period he was nervous and got hit pretty good behind the net, 2nd he showed his skill and that's w/ the puck, he's crafty quick and set up Winchester for a goal on a cross ice feed to the net, it was a beauty..however he shows his inexperience at times as he got his pocket picked late in the 3rd when Bingo was down 3-2 w/ minute left and Chiodo pulled, resulting in an empty netter for Amerks
-Winchester, wish I had 10 players of his caliber, attitude and confidence, all shows in his play, he was fun to watch

Oddballs;
-Cory Clouston in town as well as Eli Wilson to watch the game from one of the suites, the guy never rests I swear
-PP is dead last in the AHL w/ a 2-40 showing

Video highlights*;

*will follow

Next Up; Bingo in Rochester Wed night

Winchester seems to be doing very well with 4 points in 3 games i think he will have a lot of confidence when he gets called up again.

Btw Ski what about Ryan Keller that guy has 10 points in 10 games i believe with a plus 6 and a 21 shootin percentage...How is he doing.

Keller has been great Pascal, mostly playing w/ St. Pierre so they rack up the points pretty well..strong on his feet, size might be an issue height wise but he's built like a mack truck, not a fighter but handles the body well..

You think he has a chance to be called up and maybe even do a little point getting up here? With the O-sens
