We got beat in the finals by that dirt. If he was Downie that's one thing but he's a big tough man who will fak you up if you fak around. There's a difference.
He could teach the guys in our locker room how to be "tough men".

For now, I'm just glad I don't have to think of him as a Sens...and I'll cross that bridge when and if we get to it.

I personally wish Pronger was a Montreal Canadien.

But think about it...Why would Nashville in the FIRST PLACE ask for a deal.
It will be because he wants to move out of Nashville and hence lowering his trade value a little like Heatley.
Plus if Weber was to be ever traded it would be to a Canadian team.
So we have a Heatley situation on our hands.
What time WE get back for a 50 goal scorer?
Top 3-6 forward, bottom 6 forward and a 2nd rounder
What would i OFFER for a top 5 defenceman though.
1st rounder, Wiercioch, Conditional first and a prospect...If Foligno is necessary than fine.
For
Weber
Reasonable?
I just copied this and pasted it from Senschirp forum thing so that i can keep this rumour alive.

Pronger? NEVER...
1: Do we even have enough cap to get him? We've gotta trade Kovalev than which wouldn't make much sense...
2: Is he worth getting, sure he is big and tough, but when he wants to leave the team...he plays REAL LAZY. And thats what happening to the Philly.
3: We already got Phillips and Volchie...getting Pronger is a waste of time. Its not like if we are having TROUBLE in defence. Although the positioning HAS to get better, we've got the player we need. Don't need major change...

NO
don't include Foligno...than YES. But with Foligno, NO.
His value IMO will be quite high. We need him.
"1st rounder, Wiercioch, Conditional first and a prospect" <---Very good trade
But that will only work IF Weber wants to leave Nashville...cause if he wants to stay, that won't work out...

I can almost garentee Weber asking for a trade, even if his team becomes good.
He is an amazing all around defenceman who loves to play in the spotlight. Playing in Nashville is like begging to be unknown.
He wants to play in Canada and so far his career hasn't been as spectacular as everyone and he wanted it to be.

^ Nashville would never take Cheechoo over Foligno. The fact that the Sharks got Cheechoo off their payroll is a miracle actually.

ye, thats the part that i hate.
i was hoping so bad for ehrhoff to come to ottawa with the trade...
that is before he got traded to vancouver.
and look how well he's playing these days!
and just a few days ago, i was thinking of the oilers trade that we couldhave had.
penner+ cogliano+ smid?
god, if that trade got through....
(imagining all our players are healthy),
penner-fisher-alfredsson
foligno-spezza-kovalev
regin- cogliano - shannon
kelly-winchester-neil
man, i wish!
although i do LOVE michalek
im just not too fond of cheechoo

Atlanta gets:
Spezza, Foligno.
Ottawa gets:
Kovalchuk, 2nd rounder?.
Kovalchuk-Regin-Alfredsson
Michalek-Fisher-Kovalev
Cheechoo-Kelly-Ruutu
Donovan-Winchester-Neil
Trade:
1st rounder in 2010, Patrick Wiercioch and Kuba and prospect.
For
Weber
Weber-Karlsson
Phillips-Volchenkov
Cowen-Carkner
Leclaire
Elliot
With Kovalchuk on one side and Alfy on the other...WHO CARES ABOUT THE CENTERMAN!
Plus if we get REALLY slow'd on the center position we can sign one from UFA the next year and have a prospect(Petersson, Silvferberg) Who will be ready at that time, fill Kovalev's cap.
Why am i NOT the GM?

Pronger scores more then them combined and is a way tougher player. Don't think you've noticed but our Defence is very bad.
