Haha Franson would be awesome. As would almost any of Nashville's plethora of excellent young defensemen. Jonathan Blum, Cody Franson, C.O. Roussel... But if we were gonna make a deal with Nashville, Hornqvist would have to be the main target.

If we were to trade Kovalev plus, would you be willing to take on Martin Erat's contract in order to get Hornqvist? Cus I really doubt Nashville would take on Kovalev without dropping a salary. They are on an ownership imposed budget form what I've heard.

4.5 million with about 6 years remaining. Keep in mind, its not just a totally useless contract, he is a consistent 50 point scorer and an extremely exciting player to watch.
